This document is intended for intervention workers and resource persons working with young people in the field of sexual violence. The tool is divided into 5 parts and covers topics such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual cyberviolence and sexual exploitation. In each section, definitions, clarifications and myths are set out to explain their specificities according to the type of sexual violence presented.
The 12-page tool is organized like a funnel, starting with broad descriptions of sexual violence and ending with very specific notions for each form of violence. If you want to learn more, internal and external resources are listed in the appendix.
The YWCA expertise
The YWCA Montreal offers several tools to youth workers to facilitate their mandate to prevent gender-based violence and promote social equality. The creation of this informative document was funded by the Secrétariat à la condition féminine du Québec.
