Support organizations

Sexual violence is a sensitive subject, and despite the responsibilities that comes with a prevention mandate, it’s important to respect your own limits, to take care of yourself and delegate the job of facilitating to others when topics are too difficult for you to broach.

This section contains a list of help and reference organizations. Check out the relevant resources to help yourself or the person you are taking care of. Several organizations, including the YWCA Montreal, can assist you with your efforts and run workshops in different settings. Don’t hesitate to ask for help.

If you’re working with someone who has a different situation or background than yours, don’t hesitate to contact the specialized organizations who can support you in your work. The following resources offer services that are open to all, except where an age, gender or a target audience is specified.
