To mark this new chapter, the&nbsp;<em>YWCA Montreal<\/em>&nbsp;is renewing its commitment to education and post-secondary training professionals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a 2025 filled with projects and learning experiences, we are excited to present our&nbsp;<strong>2026 service offering: enriched, innovative, and still completely free<\/strong>, designed to support your practices and address today\u2019s challenges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training for Informed Practice&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To stay up to date in their practice, ongoing training is essential! Aware of the challenges in accessing high-quality content that is both accessible and compatible with busy schedules, the&nbsp;<em>YWCA Montreal<\/em>&nbsp;is offering&nbsp;<strong>two new training programs<\/strong>&nbsp;for&nbsp;<strong>post-secondary education professionals<\/strong>. These programs aim to&nbsp;<strong>equip resource persons<\/strong>&nbsp;with the knowledge and tools to address sexual&nbsp;and gender-based&nbsp;violence (SGBV):&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A foundational training<\/strong>\u00a0designed to provide a core understanding of\u00a0<strong>best practices<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>roles<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>responsibilities<\/strong>\u00a0for SGBV\u00a0intervention;\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A specialized training<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0<strong>socioeconomic consequences<\/strong>\u00a0of SGBV in\u00a0<strong>male-dominated sectors<\/strong>, with an\u00a0<strong>intersectional approach<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These trainings are independent and free and can be taken together or separately.&nbsp;They are available in both&nbsp;<strong>French and English<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awareness Tools to Energize Your Activities&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, our service set itself a challenge: to make SGBV prevention more engaging, concrete, and motivating! Our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sansviolencefree.ca\/ressources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>SansViolenceFree<\/em><\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;platform has been enhanced.
