Four women from diverse cultural communities and with different life backgrounds open up about the challenges of navigating relationships and sexuality as racialized people.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hosts Annabel McLaughlin and Jessica Prudencio welcome Titi and Beck, who have their own podcast, <em>Woke or whateva<\/em>. Together, they discuss the many issues surrounding relationships as racialized women in Quebec.\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of the discussion is in French, but they sometimes switch to English.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find the Where we at podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Balado Qu\u00e9bec and Instagram, among others. Episode\u202f2, called <em>Love Isn\u2019t Blind<\/em>, is just under an hour. Feel free to discover the other episodes, which are just as interesting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ethnosexual stereotyping, fetishization and intersectionality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Episode\u202f2 contains several real-life examples of ethnosexual stereotyping and the fetishization of people from various cultural communities.\u202fThe four women also discuss the notion of intersectionality, which they explain very clearly around the 32-minute mark of the episode.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tool will be highly useful and instructive for better understanding the direct impact that systems of oppression have on people\u2019s lives. We encourage you to listen to it for your own professional development and for shedding light on facts you have yet to uncover. You might also want to share the podcast with racialized youth who need to see their issues represented and discussed by people who look like them.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The team responsible&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>Where We At<\/em> podcast is hosted by Annabel McLaughlin, sexologist and psychotherapist, and Jessica Prudencio, content creator.
