For 50 years, Marie-Vincent has been working to protect, support, and ensure the safety of children who are victims of sexual violence in Quebec. Through prevention, awareness, specialized intervention, and training, the organization aims to reduce the impact of sexual violence on youth and promote the development of healthy sexuality. Its approach is child- and youth-centred, inclusive, compassionate, and collaborative.
Do you work with children or adolescents? Do you support youth who have experienced sexual violence (SV) or who display problematic sexual behaviours? Are you simply looking to expand your knowledge and improve your intervention practices? Marie-Vincent is here for you!

The organization also offers a wide array of professional training and articles to help build prevention and intervention skills in the context of sexual violence involving children and adolescents. Trainings are available live or on-demand. For specific requests, you can contact: [email protected]
Finally, their website serves as a comprehensive hub of information and tools—accessible, age-appropriate, clearly explained, and based on best practices. These resources help users better understand healthy psychosexual development, identify vulnerability factors and risk situations, approach sensitive topics in a playful way, and respond with care to disclosures of sexual violence.
For Children and Their Families
Children under the age of 17 who have experienced SV, and children under 12 who present problematic sexual behaviours can access evaluation and treatment services tailored to their needs. Marie-Vincent works in collaboration with a wide network of partners to offer children, adolescents, and their families all necessary services under one roof—helping streamline the process for victims and prevent secondary victimization* through a trauma-informed, compassionate, and coordinated approach.
