Formerly known as the West Island Sexual Assault Centre (CALACS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île), Collectif Consenti is an intersectional feminist non-profit organization dedicated to preventing sexual violence and supporting survivors.
The organization’s core services are available to cisgender and transgender women. Since 2023, selected programs have also been available to non-binary and Two-Spirit people aged 12 and older. Alongside its support services, Collectif Consenti delivers a wide range of prevention, awareness, and training initiatives within the community.
Collectif Consenti grounds all of its work in a feminist, intersectional, and anti-oppressive approach. Recognizing that experiences of violence vary according to people’s social, cultural, and identity-related realities, the organization is committed to providing inclusive services that are responsive to diverse lived experiences.
Through its multidisciplinary team, Collectif Consenti supports survivors of sexual violence while also working with organizations and institutions seeking to promote consent and prevent sexual violence.
Support Services
To provide services tailored to the needs of those affected, Collectif Consenti offers a range of support services.
- Telephone Intake Line
As the organization’s first point of contact, the intake line allows individuals an opportunity to speak with a counsellor about their situation, identify their needs, and be referred to the most appropriate service. When appropriate, an intake appointment is then scheduled to begin ongoing support.

Youth aged 12 to 17 can quickly access individual support adapted to their specific needs. Services are offered either at Collectif Consenti’s offices or, when appropriate, directly within the youth’s school or community setting.
- Thematic Workshops
Each month, workshops are offered in both French and English on topics related to the impacts of sexual violence, including anxiety, guilt, reconnecting with one’s body, interpersonal relationships, and overall well-being.
- Support Throughout the Legal Process
Participants can receive socio-legal support to better understand each stage of the legal process and receive guidance throughout their legal journey.
Collectif Consenti also provides information and referrals to help individuals access other services best suited to their needs when necessary.
The Monarch Project: Supporting Survivors with Precarious or Without Immigration Status
Developed in partnership with the Refugee Centre, the Monarch Project supports survivors of sexual assault who have precarious immigration status or no legal status.
The program provides psychosocial counselling, socio-legal support, and assistance with certain immigration-related processes. To ensure timely access to services, eligible participants are placed on a separate waiting list from the organization’s regular services.
